Makeup first touched my face as a baby. By the age of 11 I was wearing a full face of makeup. That's when I started training other girls to do the same. By college I was selling Mary Kay. It took me until the age of 23 to quit makeup. My mom sobbed when I finally quit because she was terrified what it would cost me as a woman. To this day both my mom and sister can never leave the house without makeup. I remember when I was crippled by the same weight of anxiety.
