I started this piece in the pandemic, and from the sketch to the completed piece, it has been quite a journey. This artwork has morphed in meaning and design because of the ways I was changing while making it. I even sat with it 90% done for more than a year because of my personal growth and changes. I initially wrote a poem that goes along with this piece. But as my views changed, so did the poem. So I share the piece by itself, as I rework the poem and decide if it still makes sense for me to add.
