Death is part of the cycle of life, yet that doesn't comfort us when we lose someone, especially the young. The cycle of life doesn't have a set length and that can be terrifying. It can also be exhilarating because it means we can let go of the fear of "running out of time" and instead appreciate each moment we do have. We leave a mark no matter the length of time we are on this planet. The mark maybe big or small; regardless it transfers energy that spreads throughout the world.

Today I celebrate the life of Brandi Kochan as I grieve the finite nature of death. Though Brandi was a stranger to me, I felt the comradery many others felt as a fan of her work. Based on her best friend Moctar's words, let us celebrate Brandi's life. In her short time on this earth she inspired thousands of people. She made us feel less alone. She built community despite the limitations of the virtual world and the censorship of radical feminist women. She modeled what it means to be a female freedom fighter, a feminist, a lesbian woman who centers all women. Now it is up to us to take the analysis Brandi has put into the world and spread that knowledge to others. She will live on through our memories and actions. Here's to you Brandi, Siren, Runawaysiren940...your dear viewers thank you for being you and for teaching us courage🙏♀️✊❤️🔥!
